We offer these adjustments asalterations service for you for your garmentwith on-site alterations with our own in-house seamstress. Your gown never leaves our store. Our Alterations Department is located in the store.
When you purchased your gown, a consultant measured and you chose the size of gown to order that was nearest your measurements that would fit into the Individual Manufacturer’s Standardized Size Chart for you gown. The dress will have to be altered to flatter and fit your figure. If the dress has a train, it should be bustled so you can move about and dance at your reception.
The price of alterations varies by how the dress fits initially, how the manufacturer has constructed it, the style of the gown, the fabric style it is made of and how soon the alterations need to be completed. Approximate charges may be given over the phone, but until the Alterations Specialist actually sees the dress on you and examine the fabric style and how the dress is constructed, a firm estimate cannot be given.
Wedding gown hem charges usually fall into the $150 to $450 range. This will vary to to the technical difficulty of the gown.
